Since its inception, the Veterans Cricket Foundation of India (VCI) has remained committed to establishing a strong domestic presence through landmark tournaments that reflect our dedication to veterans’ cricket.
We began with the successful hosting of Zonal Over-50s Tournaments in Chennai and Indore, creating a competitive platform for senior cricketers to reignite their passion for the game. Building on this momentum, we extended our footprint with the Regional Veterans League Over-60s, held across Jharkhand, Chennai, and Jammu & Kashmir. The Pankaj Memorial Cup in Jamshedpur further added prestige and tradition to our domestic circuit.
In October 2024, we proudly organized the Over-50s Zonal Tournament in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, continuing our mission to strengthen regional representation and talent scouting.
In a major step forward, April 2025 witnessed the launch of the Over-40s T20 VPCI Corporate League in Bangalore — a high-energy tournament that blended corporate engagement with veterans cricket, broadening the sport’s appeal and participation base.
These domestic milestones reflect VCI’s core values of inclusivity, excellence, and continuity, ensuring that cricket remains a lifelong pursuit for players across India.
In November 2025, we proudly organized the Over-70s World Cup Selection Trials in Lonavala, Maharashtra. This milestone reflects dedication to maintaining high performance standards and contributing valuable experience to the competitive selection process.
In December, Veterans Cricket India (VCI) successfully conducted the Over-60s Pankaj Memorial Cup in Jharkhand, marking a significant step in promoting competitive veteran cricket and honoring the legacy of the sport among senior cricketers.
In January 2026, we proudly organized the Over 50s Cricket Tournament in Surat, ensuring that cricket remains a lifelong pursuit for players across India. This milestone reflects our dedication to maintaining high organizational standards and providing meaningful competitive opportunities for veteran cricketers.
