International Milestones

The Veterans Cricket Foundation of India (VCI) has remarkably crafted a series of international milestones that showcase our unwavering dedication to veterans’ cricket on a global scale. Starting in 2020, we hosted the Over 50’s World Cup in Cape Town, which set the stage for future international engagements. By 2021, our efforts brought us to England for the prestigious Over 50’s Marlborough Cup. The following year, 2022, saw us extending our reach to Australia for the Over 60’s Marlborough Cup and Barbados for the Over 50’s Caribbean Cup.

Our momentum continued to build in 2023 with a series of noteworthy tournaments, including the Over 50’s World Cup in Wales and the Over 60’s World Cup in Cape Town. Additionally, the Silver Dragon Cup in Newport, Wales, highlighted our expanding influence.

As we look ahead to 2024, we are particularly excited to host the first-ever Over 70's World Cup in the UK, planned for July. This historic event underscores our commitment to providing a platform for senior cricketers to compete at the highest levels and celebrate their enduring passion for the game. Each milestone represents a step forward in our mission to foster a vibrant global community for veteran cricketers, ensuring the spirit of cricket thrives across generations.
