VCI Over 70’s Announcement
Dear Team,
After a wonderful and truly inspiring selection process in Lonavala, I have now firmed up my best playing squad of 16 — the team I believe can best represent Veterans India (70+) at the upcoming World Cup and compete confidently against the most formidable international sides.
The selection has been based on three core performance parameters:
- 1 Batting | 2 Bowling | 3 Fielding
- For pure batsmen, we assessed batting plus fielding.
- For bowlers, we evaluated bowling plus fielding.
- We looked at complete cricketers — skill, fitness, temperament, and team utility.

Our collective strength lies in our pool of committed players — not just the final 16. Looking forward to leading this team with pride, unity, and sportsmanship.
